Kokedama is roughly the size of a rockmelon.
Comes complete with a coaster, full care instructions and a gift box!
Other base options available in 'Accessories + Gifts' collection.
Ideally suited to a bright, warm position but away from direct sun. Will also do well in medium filtered light, but will not love a heavily shaded position.
If placed in lower light areas, plant will get 'leggy' as it searches for more light.
Water when the kokedama feels dry to the touch and light to hold. Typically weekly through the warmer months, but will need to be cut back to roughly fortnightly through the winter month.
Monstera does not like to be soggy and can quickly become unhappy of the kokedama is left wet for too long. So ensure this plant is not over watered, and only watered when dry and also to ensure that all excess water is gently squeezed out after watering as per your included care instructions.
HOW TO WATER
Fully submerge your kokedama in a bowl, sink or bucket. You may need to hold it under for a moment! Allow to soak for 10-15 minutes until kokedama feels heavy and full.
It is important to gently squeeze out excess water from the kokedama by pressing between two hands, on the sides towards the base. This will ensure your kokedama does not stay waterlogged which will prevent conditions such as root rot, fungus gnats and mould. As the moss and twine are natural products they are biodegradable and as such, squeezing out the excess water will prevent deterioration, prolonging the life of your kokedama.
