Each kokedama is made by hand, by us, using layers of soil, coconut fibre and jute twine -  just for you!
Due to the high demand, hand made nature, and the physical toll they take on our hands, we have to limit the amount we can make at a time. With this in mind, general lead times for kokedama orders are between 2-5 business days, (sometimes longer) depending on our current demand.
We will endeavour to have them made and ready for you ASAP, but if you require for a specific date, please leave a note on your order, in the comments section at checkout.
To avoid disappointment, we recommend allowing at least a weeks notice.

Hoya carnosa compacta, otherwise known as Indian Rope Hoya, is a super popular, and rarer variety of Hoya. Its unique and stunning foliage offers an impressive rope like trail that can grow up to 1m long! This plant is great for hanging or trailing along ledges that will show off its beautiful trailing vines.

Kokedama is roughly the size of an orange.
Comes complete with terracotta base, full care instructions and a gift box!

Loves medium and bright filtered light positions and can even handle some cool morning direct sun. Will tolerate some lower light areas, but will unlikely flower, so is recommended to brighter positions.

In the winter months, allow kokedama to dry out completely between watering. Generally water your kokedama fortnightly through this time.

In warmer months, water when kokedama has only just dried out, typically weekly. Be careful not to over water, however if leave start to crinkle and go dry, up the watering a little.

Fully submerge your kokedama in a bowl, sink or bucket. You may need to hold it under for a moment! Allow to soak for 10-15 minutes until kokedama feels heavy and full.

It is important to gently squeeze out excess water from the kokedama by pressing between two hands, on the sides towards the base. This will ensure your kokedama does not stay waterlogged which will prevent conditions such as root rot, fungus gnats and mould. As the moss and twine are natural products they are biodegradable and as such, squeezing out the excess water will prevent deterioration, prolonging the life of your kokedama.
