How about these stunning and exotic Alocasia Cucullata! These rare plants are not often found at your local hardware stores and nurseries, making them a super unique addition to your collection.

Alocasia Cucullata are very different to other Alocasias. They are known as the "small elephant ear", growing only to about 1 metre high, and is very hardy compared to other Alocasia varieties.

The small leaves are heart shaped, with thick prominent veining on the underside, and each with curly, twisted tips and upturned leaf margins. The unusual leaves give it its common name of ‘Hooded Elephant Ear’ or even known as ‘Buddha’s Hand’.

The plant eventually forms a nice thick clump approximately 1 metre tall by 1 metre wide and becomes multi-stemmed even when quite young presenting a stunning array of tropical foliage.
