Each kokedama is made by hand, by us, using layers of soil, coconut fibre and jute twine -  just for you!
Due to the high demand, hand made nature, and the physical toll they take on our hands, we have to limit the amount we can make at a time. With this in mind, general lead times for kokedama orders are between 2-5 business days, (sometimes longer) depending on our current demand.
We will endeavour to have them made and ready for you ASAP, but if you require for a specific date, please leave a note on your order, in the comments section at checkout.
To avoid disappointment, we recommend allowing at least a weeks notice.

Kokedama is roughly the size of a grapefruit.
Comes complete with a coaster, full care instructions and a gift box!

Loves bright filtered light, but will suit medium filtered light positions too. Ideally, the brighter the better which will keep the plant compact and lush. Lower light positions will cause the plant to become lanky and leggy as it tries to reach for more light. Keep away from direct sun and heating outlets.

Although these plants like moist conditions, they do not like to be too soggy. So be sure to water only when the kokedama has dried and starts to feel light to hold. Generally ever 1 - 2 weeks through the summer months, but less in winter.

Fully submerge your kokedama in a bowl, sink or bucket. You may need to hold it under for a moment! Allow to soak for 10 minutes until kokedama feels heavy and full.

It is important to then gently squeeze out excess water from the kokedama by pressing between two hands, on the sides towards the base. This will ensure your kokedama does not stay waterlogged which will prevent conditions such as root rot, fungus gnats and mould. As the moss and twine are natural products they are biodegradable and as such, squeezing out the excess water will prevent deterioration, prolonging the life of your kokedama.
